Ghost Recon 2, anyone?

Ubisoft made an official announcement today that they are making a true sequal to Ghost Recon. New graphics engine, new single player mode, lots of multiplayer, and more.

It's slated for a Holiday 2004 release.

if they mean becoming a hero like in a war movie...I hope that means they don't sacrifice realism for arcadey/unreal-esque action to compete with the likes Call of Duty.

Though, it's still a Clancy property. So worrying about them keeping it real is kinda moot, so...yeah, this was a worthless post in the end, but good news to hear.
