I'm looking forward to Jeff Lieberman's "Satan's Little Helpers." I like "Just Before Dawn," "Squirm" and even his anti-drug short "The Ringer" for its cleverness. "Blue Sunshine" isn't something I'm crazy about, but it's interesting and it has some nice moments. I like the synopsis of "Helper" and the trailer's pretty nice (referring to the cellar, "This could be our secret door to hell; I hope God doesn't see us." You gotta love that). And, by the way, good job on the interview with Jeff Lieberman, Creature-Corner. Considering it was done by e-mail, it was surprisingly good.

This is a good time for horror, at least it is in my eyes. Tobe Hooper recently made "The Toolbox Murders," which I haven't seen. Frank Henenlotter's making "Sick in the Head" for Fangoria (I'm not sure of the status of the production). I think Herschell Gordon Lewis is making a new movie (does anyone know anything about this?). And there's "2,001 Maniacs"--another remake that actually seems worth checking out.

Excellent, thanks a lot for the kind words, glad you dug the interview. I'm really looking forward to Satan as well, I hope it's as good as some of his past efforts. If Tribeca goes well for him we could be hearing more about it really soon.

Yeah, I dug the trailer as well. It had a very interesting atmosphere to it, kinda dreamlike and it reminded me a bit of DONNIE DARKO which is never a bad thing.

The interview was great, my favourite part is when Johnny asks about his inspiration and Liebermann deadpans: "Pot."
