Guess it's time to go out and get another GBA. ;)

And nothing in this world can stop me from buying Excitebike... well... except for maybe this:

That GBA looks pretty spiffy, but honestly...twenty bucks for Ice Climbers? The original Mario?
If all eight of these games were included on one cartridge--which Nintendo could have done easily--it would be something worth getting excited over. But considering that you could buy a used Nintendo and all of those games for about forty bucks (or just download them all in a matter of minutes), spending $160 for nostalgia is ridiculous.
Yet another reason why I hate the GBA.

When I had time to play Animal Forest, there would be NES games I could play through my character on screen. Including Excitebike. I could also download them to my GBA and play them as long as I kept the GBA turned on. (Which caused me to fondle it so much. The GBA is a cold bastard. But still a sexy one.)
20 bucks? I think you can also download these games if you have an eReader. But I guess Nintendo is going to bypass that since the eReaders didn't do that well in sales.
I have to admit though, I want that GBA SP designed as an NES controller.

I'll probably ask for this for my birthday. Pretty sweet.

to hell with milking me for some old assed games that look like shit and will give me sore wrists.
I'm not buying any of them. Not even for zelda.
actually, maybe I'll throw up my gba on ebay. yeah, that's it.

Remember "Super Mario All Stars" on the Super NES?
That's the way nostalgia compilations should be released. Not like this.

Heck, the Game Boy Color had the original Mario, and with a ton of new stuff, no less. What's the big deal about the GBA being able to play NES games?

Ack! Twenty bucks for those? That aint right. Feels kinda wrong. Ten bucks maybe, or a comilation pack like someone else said... that would make more sense.
The GBA itself looks pretty sweet though, but I'm gonna stick with my red one for now... Inferno/Flame, whatever they called it. I like it a lot.
Zelda would be cool to have but I still have my old NES (I think it still works to some degree and my sister's boyfriend has bonus disc for gamecube that has it on there.
My money will go elsewhere...

Hey man, I'm not about to complain about paying $20, when the alternative is to deal with my broke ass Nintendo.
This is a niche market anyway, perhaps they felt that this was the best way to make a buck. God knows theres freaks out there willing to buy these solely for the box art.

I just want Kid Icarus!!! And I'll bet they're kicking themselves for including the original Metroid on Zero Mission. Otherwise we'd probably be seeing that on this list. And in a time when people like Sega are releasing collections of nearly a dozen games like Altered Beast, Golden Ax, etc on one cartridge that sells for twenty bucks, I think it's outrageous that Nintendo is trying to sell each of these games for 20 a piece. Zelda excluded as it's so damn popular.

Somewhat on-topic, Final Fantasy 1 & 2 will be released for the GBA on what looks to be a single cartridge.
