My computer was working fine yesterday...

Now I turn it on today and it works and all but windows is not giving me any icons or bar at the bottom. Can anyone tell me how to fix this it'd be much appreciated.

Do you have Windows Me or newer? Not knowing what the deal is off the top of my head, I'm thinking whatever caused that might be remidied by the Restore option to yesterday or whenever it worked right last.

edit: I just re-read your post, and it sounds like Windows isn't booting up all the way. Try rebooting a couple of times, then try Safe Mode and go for the Restore option.

Uuuugh! Nasty! I had to work with those for two years at my old job. Never a bigger piece of crap made. Lock up constantly, compatible with squat. My old boss was one of those Apple-Heads that if he overheard people complaining about them he always tried to stick up for them, even when he couldn't win.

I'll stick to the old PC thank you very much!
