Welcome to land of no feedback. Here's another salvo, the song that ends the Thronester CD. We have about 5 songs still to finish, but it's all coming together rather Jerry, so that's good.

Sweet Young Thing

Mama always warned her to walk
On the right side of the road
Oncoming traffic at least shows its hand
Instead of that blindside
No use for hindsight

Fine china shatters just as easily
Goodbye sweet young thing

Sandpaper hands caress the face
No need to learn the lesson
Wide eyes bear the truth I’m guessing
Why do I have to be right this time

Prized possessions die just as inconveniently
Goodbye sweet young thing

Blindsight keeps me off the road
Father figure strains by allegations

Good intentions mean less than ever now
Goodbye sweet young thing

Good song. Pretty low key at times and that's a interesting thing. I like the guitar work in it and the ending of the song is tops.

Nope, didn't listen (hopefully you remember why) but I like the lyrics to this. Wrap up the other 5 and I'll make the purchase. Looking forward to owning more from you guys.

Absolutely love.

So 70's Steve Miller in the best way, and the ending bit kills.

Breaking off some funk with out me? I see how it is.

Anyway, I dig the song and love all the changes. Everytime I'm not around the songs always come out like that. The ending kills though - Steve and I were just talking about how we needed more rock. Next album will have plenty I'm sure.

I actually like the first three quarters of the song much better than the end, but I've only given it a couple listens. I love the guitar solo in the middle, and the front end is beautifully moody. The end makes the song, two songs, and I'm not down with that.... yet.

The ending thing isn't really part of the song. More like a tease to the next album.

In that case, I really dig it, then.

Agree with Micah in this reminds me so much of Steve Miller and THAT is a great thing....

What I like about this is the lyrics deceived me. Thought I would be listening to something very heavy and out came some cool jamming.

Nice

I've been on this board for a while but this is my first time listening to the Luck Nightsticks- and I like it alot.
Grand Funk Railroad influence, maybe even a little Credence Clearwater? It's all good, very good.
