I thought I heard it was going to and I know MGM'S history and what with the site being so close to Salva and the picture I thought I could get some heads up in the department. I want to buy it but if there is another one coming I'll wait.

Uh, no. No double dipping here. What you see on this disc, which is a lot, is what you get. It's got pretty much everything you can drain from this flick.

Oh, you wanted that? Sorry, I flushed it.

I'd take Resident Evil over JC2 any day. 2,000 times over.

I look forward to a root canal without novacaine more than either of these.

Is the DVD 2.40:1 widescreen or what? 'Cos that really annoys me.

I really liked JC2. It did have one of the best decapitations ever, you have to admit that. Victor should get a nod for creating a really creepy scene: When the student is crouched down in his seat and the Creeper is on the other side of his window, and he looks down towards the kid. That look in his wide, bloodshot eye is a new classic.

Sorry to flaunt my DVDE ignorance but what is that? And what kind of widescreen is jeepers creepers 2 shot in? why is it bad?

The Jeepers Creepers 2 DVD is presented in a 2.35:1 aspect ratio widescreen. I have no idea why that would annoy anyone.

Exactly!

Why would you want a MAR (Modified Aspect Ratio) DVD of this? You'd miss nearly half of the composition. You're actually getting everything. It's the same way you saw it in the theater.

This is what I tell folks to do when they feel cheated by 'scope films:

A. Buy a big widescreen TV.
or
B. Turn all the lights off in the room when you watch it.

Finally saw this movie last night and was I letdown. Let me say that I absolutely love the first movie, especially the first 2/3. Now I for one thought JC2 was not at all scary, or particularly fun. The only part that really got me hooked was the opening scene. After that IMO it went straight into the gutter. No suspense, not really any cool shots or action. I did like the homemade harpoon gun, but Ray Wise did not get to use it enough. I also enjoyed the last five minutes, but a few fun moments do not a great movie make, so I would give JC2 a 4.5/10.
And if I must choose between RE and JC2 I would take Resident Evil.

chappers: For the sake of those who have yet to see it, you might want to post spoiler warnings first. You pretty much gave away the ending there.

Gotta say, the menus on the DVD are pretty good. Can't say much for the movie, though.
