The first 3 pics could've come from the trailer ... Nothing new. But I dig the other two character pics. Dammit, I'm still cautiously optimistic about this flick ...

I have to say, these images do nothing for me. I guess I'm just burned out on CGI-assisted apocalypses. The premise of the film is slightly more intriguing than the norm, but with Emmerich at the helm I'm not exactly pinning my hopes on it being anything more than melodramatic spectacle.

I think that it looks great. Roland is very visually minded and it definitely shows in the stuff that I've seen from this movie. I really wanted to get on this one, but alas, it was not to be. I hope that it does great.

I love the trailer for this movie. The movie looks like it could be pretty good too. Good cast for sure.

Awesome. This film better have an inspiring speech in it, given it's creators.

I like the first one. Looks like an old school matte style painting.

I've yet to see a bad Dennis Quaid movie. I'm really curious about this one.

I still cant help but think there is not much to this movie that hasn't already been shown in the trailer (other than more snazzy effects).
The movie can't end with the end of the world, so without any aliens, what else can happen after all the destruction??
Any ideas?

As I'm to understand it, pretty much all the disaster footage shown in the trailer is from the film's first half hour and the rest of the movie is based around people in frozen New York trying to survive and save the planet. I've yet to see a nice thing said about the script from people who have read it looks like once again Roland Emmerich proves why he should just stick to directing and leave the writing to others more talented than he.

Like he did when he made THE PATRIOT? I'm sorry but I'd rather watch GODZILLA ten times in row than sit through that piece of soul-sucking shit again.

Well, it may have been DEATHWISH 1776 but it wasn't worse than GODZILLA. I think you must be one of the only persons walking the planet that would use those two titles in the same sentence and not refer to GODZILLA as the one that epitomizes "soul-sucking shit."
