You promised ass in your topic now PROVIDE!!

Get cable. You watch stuff you normally wouldn't rent and can turn the channel if and when it sucks coughghostshipcough. When I got my new cable box Saturday I had all the channels for 24 hours, and got to see a lot...of CRAP! All movies suck. That's my new thing.

That Bone Snatcher on Sci-Fi was surprisingly alright. The first two reels were good, the third which revealed what it was kinda ruined it, but it had a couple of great visuals...

I'm with you on the Midnight Mass hate. Both Ryan and I have that movie, one of us is supposed to review it at some point, and neither one of us can bring ourselves too. Worst acting ever.

There's a new lady in charge of stocking up my local library's movie section, and she's a horror buff! Now I can see Darkness Falls, The Mummy Returns and The Hollow Man for free!

Being Catholic and a Vampyr lover, I was really disgusted with the idea of "Midnight Mass". I was subjected to that trailer at work a few months back, and not only did the plot irritate me, the fact they used the LOTR music really got my goat.

I'm sorry to hear that.

And pray for me, because I will most surely see "The 13th Child".

I'm truly sorry. :(

The 13th Child has the rare distinction of being one of the only movies (especially that I paid to watch) that I shut off about mid-way through and never finished. I just couldn't force myself to finish it. Even Benson couldn't save it.

That's a shame. I've been waiting for a good Jersey Devil movie, and I hoped this one would be it. The Last Broadcast could have been, but then there was the "grinding gears" shift ending.

Ah well. At least I got CHUD for $9 at Wal-Mart! :D

whats funny about the 13th child was that I got half way through the movie and the VHS tape crapped out. I was actually happy!! What the hell was Cliff Robertson thinking when he wrote that movie. What the hell was F.Paul Wilson thinking when he wrote midnight mass? And he has the gaul to rip Michael Mann for The Keep???!!!!

They just pulled some "the Jersey Devil is the vengeful spirit of the 13th son of an Indian Shaman who was hanged" (or somesuch bullshit) story straight out of their asses. I know that I grew up hearing the legend of the Jersey Devil, and I've never heard that version of it.

Yeah, well I bought BOTH of these sight unseen.

Need I say anymore?

Midnight Mass was pure shit. One of the reasons I hate most independants is because of garbage like this.

#1 - Don't even think of trying to pawn that one off on me. I'm still trying to finish enduring LEPRECHAUN: BACK 2 THE HOOD.

#2 - Worst acting ever? I wouldn't start making comments like that until you've seen EL CHUPACABRA. Jesus, the acting in EL CHUPACABRA is so bad it actually qualifies as anti-acting, if it's possible for such a thing to exist.

Coincidentally, you can find my full length EL CHUPACABRA review in the FOYEURISM section this month at SCHLOCKTOBERFEST.COM.
