Okay, I've delayed posting anything because of my natural shyness and the fact that I'm a newcomer around here, but I'm also curious about what (if anything) people thought about my first story on CHUD STORIES. So if you've read it and would like to say something, please do--I've got a pretty thick skin, so I won't cry too much. Unless you're just mean. :)

Yeah, I wondered whether I should be bold enough to ask people what they thought of my story, but what the hell - why write stuff if you don't ask people to read it?
For the record, I loved your story. It was the first one I read, and it made me hold back on sending something in until I'd really thought it through. I was all set to bang out my ideas, but "What You Made Me" stopped me from rushing in and forced me to think carefully about what I wanted to do with the story. You kind of raised the bar, if you see what I mean.
You've got a great use of grotesque imagery, without spilling over into gross-out imagery. Some of the images are still fresh in my mind, which I always take to be the proof of a story well told.
Great website too, by the way, very useful info!

I thought it was a great story, very unexpected stuff. Original fiction that's actually original in tone is always good stuff.
Don't be shy to post requesting feedback, I wish every author should. Gets people to go read the stories that otherwise might not if they read other people's reaction to it.
