Three Day Novel Contest

There is a contest by Anvil Press in Canada to write a novel in three days. Though it is too late to enter for this year (you start the Friday of Labor Day and end Sunday night) it's not too early to start thinking about next year. You are allowed to have an outline written beforehand. But you are on the honor system as far as writing the actual novel goes. The average length is 100 pages. That's 33.3 pages a day or 1.4 pages an hour. The grand prize is a publishing offer. Anyone game for next year?

Three days? 100 page? Not bloodly likely to be very polished and good. At least not at my current skills. I may be up for this next year though.

I suspect Voltes (X-Name: Fountain Pen) could write ten novels in that time, thanks to his mutant writing power.

If you hand write it they give you an extra week to transcribe. I'd be editing on the fly baby!!!
