View Full Version : * General Logan to Undergo Metamorphosis, Curse All Life
General Logan

At this month's end, many changes will befall our beloved merc-with-a-mouth. And no, not just finally becoming a woman.
Moving from my palatial, rent-shared digs to a small apartment and the very likely taking on of a second job will all but destroy my onlin presence.
I will be operating on the 'net exclusivley from work and/or public governement-sponsored facilites for the next... god know how long.
Frivolous things like internet, cable, and water are being scrificed in the name of rent and Satan's bills.
In this diminished capacity, I plan to both truly begin living life to its fullest, and to avoid you people like the plague. Except for that last part, where I shall endeavor to bring in the noise/funk as oft as the next chewer.
If you need anything, especially antique furniture or outdaed, value-less dining table wooden fruit, e-mail. And fast.
We'll miss you Logan, but you'll be here in spirit!

Diva:
We'll miss you Logan, but you'll be here in spirit! Not really. I plan on eating his soul tomorrow afternoon.
At some point you'll have to shit him out and then we'll still get to enjoy Logan via the soul you shat.

I am not dying (unless you people heard something I didn't...? But I just meant that it will be tough to get online or on the boards. I will still make an effort from work.
Now that I re-read my lines, it looks like a pathetic plea for attention. For inflicting that on all of you, I am sorry.
As for you Raoul, I will still be updating the site as much as I can. That is why I wanted to get the new "look" finalized. So that there isn't a lot of heavy graphical uploading, etc.
But to shamelessly promote something such as the site would belong in another forum.
Capn: I am still trying to see if I can workout the Guillotine trip. I will get back to you guys on that too.
Wait, that belongs in another forum too.
Damnation.

Zod... life is an important thing to pay attention to. Good luck. Come back as you can, many people here want updates.
Craft a good one, my man.

FUCK! LOGAN ...
See, I put "general" in my head, and then either "Zod" or "Logan" goes out my fingers ....
Well, look at that: Blofeld makes an idiot of himself...

Fett, me dig your crazy new screenname...
Logan, we need more of you around here, not less. Quit one of those jobs, get a laptop, and post from your cardboard box under the bridge like I do. You big pussy.

An update, for the few I haven't alienated in the weeks since I started this "Woe is me" thread. Though I admit, it's got some humor in it, missing vowels, all sorts of things...
I have been able to keep up here at work. Obviously from anyone taking part in the Mafia campaign... *coughshillcough*
But I have some good news for you guys that are keeping up with old G.L.
Due to the departure of my boss to pursue other things, I have been summoned to fill his position (this sales division has two employees total... now one). After meeting with my boss's boss, it is unanimous that I am the man for the job.
My division is currently up for sale, so I have a Teflon Rug underneath me for now. But just to hear the words "You effectively doubled your salary" in a meeting just about brought me to tears.
Work is going to be much more demanding and stressful, but I can finally get out of my financial rut and go from whine to wine.
Well, Boone's wine, but that's cause it's what Kid Rock says to drink.
Seriosuly though, for the moment, I will actually be doing better than "getting by". Of course the college loan vultures will have me on radar, and I will have less of a sob story for you guys.
Hope you don't mind me sharing. Thanks to those who keep up with me. And keep the fingers sewed in crossed position.

Good on ya mate. Of course you realize a doubled salary means an octupled workload. wink

So, regarding Coldstone:
Will it end a la Michael O' Donahuge's How To Write Good ?
Suddenly, they were all run over by a bus.

Depending on the outcome, I am planning on putting the Coldstone story to paper after all is said and done.
And thanks for the replies.

That's funny. I was going to suggest submitting it to CHUDstories. You've outdone yourself on it, my man.

Yes. Coldstone is a lot of fun, and excellently done. I am in awe. I live in hope he will lead my armies one day...

Yeah, I had the same idea, all the while I thought it would be cool to collect everything into one big story. Good to see Logan's already thought of it.
And congratulations on your promotion, Logan. That's very cool.

Great! Next time we have sex you can actually pay me!
Congrats, Gen. If you get a promotion, does that mean I can also get promoted? Do I get to become a general anytime soon?

Heh. Capt., you are a riot.
I have done something very similar before, actually twice. Two "online novels", both "starring" 75 characters, submitted by online role-players.
Of course, this was in the Star Wars realm. Needless to say, a certain "General Logan" figured semi-pominently in both of them.
I would post the links (I have before), but I have moved on a bit.
Plus this mafia thing is really a lot more fun.
I just hope all you guys are still pumped about seeing it in sotyr form once you get whacked in RP.
:) ?
