No San Diego Comic-Con for Me :(

Formerly known as the San Diego Comic-Con Stalker on these boards, the SDCC was my top priority this year. I was clamoring for all things related to Underworld, Matrix, Lord of the Rings, Spidey, X-men, etc., along with the cool freebies the companies hawk at their booths.

Not this year.

Unfortunately, due to financial difficulties I am unable to attend this year's San Diego Comic-Con much to my and my own family's disappoint (who accompanied me last year and we all had a blast.

I was looking forward to this year a lot more to meet some of the chewers on these boards, along with Nick and the CHUD crew.

Whoever does go, please let the rest of us chewers know how good this year's SD comic-con was and hopefully next year I will be able to meet you guys for sure.

Damn....I'm sorry to hear that you aren't going. Were I a rich man, there would be a San Diego Comic Con every single day of the week, all year long, and you and your family would have lifetime passes......but sadly...I'm not a rich man....so all that I can offer are my heartfelt condolences.....Maybe next year man....maybe next year.

Unfortunately, while my enthusiasm for the comic-con was pretty obvious, my bank account didn't reach that height due to the fact that I balanced a five class semester at my college along with a job, which didn't leave enough days open to work. This, and the fact that I am quitting my job soon (next monday, june 16) due to the fact that it is a highly stressful job that doesn't give out as many rewards in reflection of how much effort I put in. I do apologize if I scared anyone with the "stalker" in my previous name, I really wanted to put something like "San Diego Comic-Con Man", but that didn't jive well with me. Although I'm surprised nobody shrieked when "Jackass Movie Stalker" and "Punch-Drunk Flyers" made a post.

You heard it here first folks. The Comicon is safe for everyone this year. THIS year dude. Next year you're all my bitches when you step inside the san diego convention center. :D (J/K)

I thought Punch-Drunk flyarz was cool really, but someone once posted that I might be shillling for the comic-con, which I wasn't, and I was just trying to make a point about putting something you're into, into your chewer user name. Just like I did with recent one mixing in my anticipation for Underworld.

I was surprised people thought I was a real stalker, or were creeped out by my posts before when I was SDCCS. I figured if no one was bugged about some chewer named "I Poke Badgers with spoons", they wouldn't mind San Diego Comic-Con Stalker. Oops.

Speaking of Punch-Drunk Love, I plan to rent it on DVD soon.

FYI, I don't mind anyone with a peculiar name at all. Both you flyarz and Bateman are cool with me. A chewer with a name like "Dances with Chainsaws" gets the thumbs up and a five-star rating from me.
