Well, the site I tried to upload my pics onto failed miserably. But I have two cats who I love like children, one young one named Tornado and a old one named Mr. Jinx. Mew Mew Mew Mew. They love harssing each other and whatever they can catch. Including me. I also have many reptiles. Two snakes, Jackie and Belinda, three adult bearded dragons named Dignan, Bob, and Anthony, 15 baby bearded dragons that I am trying to sell, three box turtles, Luke, Leia, and Linux, two leopard geckoes named Jerry and Cornelius, and a salt water reef aquarium. Not all of these are mine, but they all live in my household permenently and I take care of them. If I can get the thing to work, I will post cute kitty pictures.

I've got a Saint Bernard named C.J. (Cujo just seemed too obvious), and a cat named Phil. Oddly enough, most of my friends think he's named after Phil Anselmo of Pantera, but he's actually named after Phil Conners, Bill Murray's character from 'Groundhog Day'. They both rule the house with an iron fist.

A cat named Al. Now that's cool.Al's one cool cat. Some unsolicited Al background: i got him as a kitten from the shelter my cousin's wife works at, and someone had found him in a bag with a fractured pelvis. it didn't heal right and he pretty much dragged himself around by his front feet. my cousin is a chiropractor and adjusted his spine a few times to the point where he could walk fairly well. now he gets around but he's still a little gimpy, so i have to keep "childproof gates" blocking the stairs to the basement and the second floor. he's a pretty happy dude, though

...in a bag with a fractured pelvis. I'm sorry Dave, but the morbid vision I had when I read this was the cat was in there next to some disembodied pelvis of questionable origin!
Sorry, I read CHUD waaayyy too much!
Hey, rescuing animals is a great thing. I told that to my dog when she got angry one day and scratched the mutherfuck out of the top of the oak table...on purpose.
She didn't really listen though. It's hard to convince a dog that she's fortunate when she's possesed by a demon.

Is your cat okay Prala? It might be a sign that you cat is getting the flu/cold.
I love all of the pictures of your pets. I wish I could have a cat but I am so allergic to them that if I even enter a room that a cat has been in my eye start watering and my nose clogs up. But at least I am not allergic to dogs because I don't know what I would do without my dogs.
Here are my dogs, Jack and Bailey. Bailey was still a puppy when this photo was taken and Jack was about ten years old. Jack is black and bailey is brown. Yes they are poodles.

Ah, John Lone. Kinjo was one of the possible names for my cat before Hastur bribed me to stay with her tradition of keeping all cats named after Shakespeare characters.*
*I'm changing my pen name to Jeremiah Shakespeare, so I can use names from my stories. She never specified it had to be William's characters.
This is my Nicholas. I feel fortunate to have him, as he is affectionate, and he does something to make me laugh at least once a day. I like to think that he is mostly Korat, like Coyote's Tibalt.
<img src="http://home.attbi.com/~aviator2005/Nicholhouse.jpg" alt="" />
This next picture is for scale. I am 5'7", so yes, he is a huge cat.

I am posting this picture in case any of you Chewers with cats doubted that those videos for kittys actually work. They do. This is my dearly departed Maxwell (half Manx, half Siamese, another massive cat), and he tried everything to get to the creatures in the video, even going behind the TV to try to find them.
I rented the video to try it, but I never bought one because I wasn't sure that it was a good thing. It stimulated the cat, but kind of frustrated him too.

I have. I love the grey cats. They ar so fluffy and cute!
My cat is black. All Black. (Shut up people, I know what it means). Knocks things over, climbs on top of the computer, runs amock in my dried flowers and sits on my ass when I'm trying to sleep, but I love her. Recently, I've tried teaching her tricks (with those pounce kitty treats as a bribe) but she just fakes me out and eats the snack instead. Anyone sucessfully had their cat trained to do anything amusing?
Coyote

Anne, he's got a fairly wide face, so he may be a russian blue (which is what we thought Tybalt was when we found him, and why I just latched onto him...I always wanted a russian blue), but he has that ridge on his back, which suggests korat. I'm not an expert by any means, I'm just tossing the ideas out.
Either way, yum. Gorgeous cat wink
We currently have Kitty Cat TV in the new apartment. Hastur has set up a squirrel disk and a birdfeeder outside on the porch...which takes up the whole glass wall in this room. Her boyfriend notes it's dual purpose...the cats are watching an action nature channel, the squirrels are outside, watching a horror movie through the glass.

Anyone sucessfully had their cat trained to do anything amusing?Prala, fun thread, I like it. First of all, everyone's puddies and bow-wows are too cute.
Second, I am one of those who has to try teaching her cat tricks, just to see if he can do it. My old cat, Maxwell, would sit up quite well, and sit and shake hands, but he really didn't like it. I made him do it once a day anyway, and he got a treat every time. It took patience, but I just followed the directions in a book on teaching cats tricks. There are a bunch of them out there. Apparently, cats are highly trainable, something that Hollywood knows, but a cat's character is so different from a dog, that people don't really see the point in doing it. Like I said, depending on the cat's personality, he may enjoy it or not. There are super cats out there, like the Purina ones that I saw at a cat show. They put on a show as a promotion. Weird.
My new cat, Nicholas, objected to the effort it took to sit up, so we don't do that (worship me, I am cat. don't make me do dog stuff, that sort of thing). But he does have a nice little kitty handshake, where he paws my hand, but he still won't let me hold his paw.
Coyote begs you to beg me.....:

Tybalt lets me do pretty much anything to him...hold his paws, massage them, dangle him like a rag doll...and purrs. He just loves the attention.
Hastur's one of my roommates, and is the girl currently acting as Editor in Chief on CHUD stories. Occasionally, she can be seen in Creature Corner (huge horror fan) or the Sex boards if there's something silly going on. Usually, she enjoys CHUD vicariously through me (and vice versa...instead of posting herself, CHUD's usually exposed to her through me as she yells, "Say I..."

I got 2 cats. One is black with orange and brown spots. That's Trixie. Her son is Al. He never shows up except to eat. Bastard.

Thanks for the link, NervousXtian. Let's just hope I do this the right way. I previewed the post and it looked okay...
This is my dog Lottie. Her full name is Lady Charlotte Louise. We used to have two Welsh Corgis and we gave both of them really cheesy British names.

Minnie, one of my cats:

This is Una and Leo III. They're the mascots at the University of North Alabama. My dad is one of their vets.
<img src="http://hyperphoto.photoloft.com/view/exportImage.asp?s=cano&i=10418194&w=256&h=192" alt="" />
They're a lot bigger than that now and they live in a habitat that's probably nicer than my apartment.

Our dogs lying in wait. They are affectionately known as Fatty and Stupid (from right to left). We have a cat too but he's still too pissed about the whole addition of dogs to the family thing so he refuses to be photographed in protest.

This is Tybalt, Coyote's cat. You may have met him in the "Chewers Be Damned" thread. His picture is also with Coyote's in Chewer Vision.

I have two children. Two ferrets.
One male named Jerry Only and one female named Helena.
We also had another little guy named Doyle, but he passed on about a year ago..

And before any young punk decides to break into my house, remember, you've got THIS to reckon with:
<img src="http://www.gf001a0002.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/piggy.jpg" alt="" />
I took my cat to the vet last Friday and she needs dental surgery because of some wierd gum disease. I can't tell if this is just some scam for the vet to take more of my money, but even though Peepers doesn't cry, her gums do look really red and raw. frown

Pity really, as I love animals.

Here is my boy, Thor Larry! The dual name is due to me and my sister liking "Thor"(for me, as in Jon Mikl Thor) and my mom wanting to name him Larry(for reasons I am unaware of). The ugly dude in the picture with him is your truly. Thanks to AgentOrange for hosting!

I've got two pugs pups: Stanley and Maggie (I did not want to name them this)
A Sharpei named Charlotte (I did name this one, because we use to have a dog named Wilbur as well, plus the similar sound of the name and breed)
and a golden retriever named Brandy (who is about a million years old)

Got me a new kitten the other day. Along with the cat earlier in this thread, my life now is fairly noisy.
Her name is Nyssa.
