Same as mine. "Dan". It's pretty simple.

"Laugharn" = "Funny Little Man"

Pretty sure it's not "Law-Horn" cause that would just be silly.

I tried to get my nickname changed from "Dan the Man" to "The Silent G" but nobody went for it.

Law Horn is a great name for an all-nude version of LA Law.

It's not hard to pronounce really.

Sorry, Dan.

That pronunciation would not have been my first guess. You must have had a heck of a time at roll call in grade school!

Dan Logarithm would be a cool name for a sci-fi character. He could be best buddies with Johnny Mnemonic and have, like, cool adventures in cyberspace.

Until recently I didn't know that The Woodlands was an actual town rather than a general area.

We sold some CD's to some of your townsfolk recently, Dan. Imagine my surprise to see the shipping address.

Donald Wiskerando
01-31-2003, 10:11 PM
That reminds me, I need to change that.

Matt Carroll
01-31-2003, 10:16 PM
Well, shit. That's much less interesting sounding.

Fuckin' Houston?

Agent 86
01-31-2003, 10:20 PM
It's "Lauren". Right?

Donald Wiskerando
01-31-2003, 10:20 PM
Trust me, it's alot more interesting than The Woodlands.

Donald Wiskerando
01-31-2003, 10:20 PM
Agent 86:
It's "Lauren". Right?Jerk.

(That's my sister's name)

Matt Carroll

Lauren Law-Horn?

Donald Wiskerando
01-31-2003, 10:23 PM
No, I meant Jerk.

Tony Ryan
01-31-2003, 10:26 PM

Matt Carroll

Ah, The Woodlands, where they put a huge fucking auditorium that draws all the big name shows, but somehow forget to build damn roads to support the traffic, so you wind up spending much more time in yer car than the concert.

Donald Wiskerando
01-31-2003, 10:36 PM
They've been working on it, but there's no conceivable way to put any more lanes in that area.

Rylander
01-31-2003, 10:38 PM
Law~Horn, eh?

How Texan . A cowboy name even.

Donald Wiskerando
01-31-2003, 10:40 PM

God, how many times did I have to drunkenly drive my sorry ass back from the Woodlands Pavillion to Spring...(only pulled over once - busted taillight and, because I was anal as all hell, I had a spare in my glovebox and was able to fix it and not get a ticket).

Great place to see a show and be feasted upon by massive amounts of mosquitos.

Coyote

Looks like it's originally celtic, by the spelling, which definately fits with Houston.

I mean, seriously, don't you think oil & cows when you think of Houston? (And smog?)

Threw me for a loop when I discovered the huge Irish & Welsh influence in this town. We have a city named Sealy (Seelie?) for Chrissakes.
And a ton of irish pubs.

Laugharn = It's Pronounced Law-Horn:

Donald Wiskerando

Well, you're the first person to make one of those in my direction, but, yeah, those get old too.
