Hello, I've lurking for a few months and I finally decided to post something and say hi.
So feel free to ask anything and I try my best to be honest.

Farrin

I like some of there stuff, the Black album, Load and S&M. Not really a hardcore fan, very into the Darkness at the moment.

The thread title is 'Hi There', and is coincidentally the first line in Peter Gabriel's song "Big Time" from the album "So". It is spoken, not sung.
Welcome Ferrin. Ferrin, eh? Where does that name originate from? Is it your real name or a film name? I like it. Kind of like Bobby McFerrin but far less ghey.

So, ehhhhh... you enjoy the ARLISS?

Farrin or more accurately Farrin Galharad was my favorite (and last) from about 3 years ago Dungeons and Dragons Role-Play character. He was a Warrior Mage. In true geek style I picked a character from Lord of the Rings (Farrimer) and one of my Favorite Knights of the round table (Galahad) and changed them a bit – Farrin Galharad (sad I know).
Haven’t played in a long time but I like the name so its kinda my online persona now.

My favourite is Mercy Street off of that album. Cool character name. I had a wizard called Presto (from the TV show), a Paladin called Abobo, Greek Sniffer of Salts, a Barbarian called Huge (from Mighty Mouse). We never got too seriously into D&D. It took Paranoia to get my full geek on.

If we went camping, got drunk, and the next morning you woke up with a sore, lubed ass and there were a bunch of used comdoms and Magic: The Gathering cards laying around the tent, would you tell anyone?

"That's too bad. We could have had a lot of fun camping."
It was Mage the Gathering that put me off.

Don't you mean Faramir? Peculiar spelling - you said you read the book, right?
My favourite off "So" is "In Your Eyes", but "Red Rain" also gets immense love, as does "Big Time". Actually, the whole album gets love, so much so that I can hardly play it any more cos the CD is so scratched.

I did mean Faramir yes, but i read the book a long time ago and i didn't have it near me when i wrote my explanation - sorry.

Normally, I wouldn't care, Melies, but you pretty much asked me to take care of you, so consider it done.
