Wow man, 7000+ chewers and I'm creeping up on my 3rd year. Lets reminisce for a second...

Andre 'Panda Bear' Dellamorte:
And only 600 Scorched Planet pseudonyms!Actually don't they get erased as they are found?
I could have sworn I have seen the number of registered members decrease on a couple occasions.
Either way that is quite an accomplishment.

Though it seems that posting has slowed down recently. Maybe, like an old couple, we all have nothing new to say to each other anymore.

Face it, there's only so much you can say about UNDERWORLD.
And it's hard to get cranked up for THE FIGHTING TEMPTATIONS.
It's a shit time in film.... I think things will pick ramp back up as The Bride takes the stage.

If you are interested in any of those then you may need to find a new hobby.

I'm not saying there aren't quality films to be found.
I'm simply noting that the market is down.
The one genre film we all had a hard-on for -- OUATIM -- simply blew.
You're not going to see massive, spontanious eruptions of fanboy love for LOST IN TRANSLATION or SECONDHAND LIONS -- the average chewer would certainly enjoy those films, but they're not going to lie awake at night fantasizing about them.

From the short time I've been here, I guess the only way you can tell that you've 'arrived' is that one of the Scorched Planet people impersonates you on other sites. Ah, my foremost goal in life is to have a doppleganger of myself going around....
