A quick FYI: ECTS is basically like the UK's E3, standing for the European Computer Trade Show. I flew down to London for two days to check it out last week, and there were some choice games there.
First up: TRUE CRIME: STREETS OF L.A.: This game will be HUGE. It was drawing big crowds there, and was pretty damn cool.
THE RETURN OF THE KING: Very nice. Tried the Minas Tirith Courtyard level with Gandalf and Aragorn, a bit jumpy framerate wise and the controls were a bit finicky, but I was impressed.
GRAN TURISMO 4: Looked surprisingly not boring. Graphics were superb, but I didn't get a chance to actually play it.
NEED FOR SPEED UNDERGROUND: From what I played, this will be the killer driving game on the PS2. Just fucking awesome. EA have some choice games this year.
MEDAL OF HONOUR - RISING SUN: Another cool title. Plays well, some very nice graphics. Definitely looking forward to playing this again.
007 EVERYTHING OR NOTHING: Excellent. The new Bond game impresses right away.
REBEL STRIKE: Pretty damn good. Looks beatiful. Played the latter half of the Hoth level.
Overall, pretty cool.
