"EA Games' World War II-themed first-person shooter will no longer be released for the Xbox.

Electronic Arts has informed GameSpot that the Xbox version of Battlefield 1942 has been canceled. The company canceled the game so the development team could focus all its efforts on the upcoming expansion for the PC version of Battlefield 1942, The Road to Rome. Battlefield 1942 is a first-person shooter in which players can fight against each other on various maps based on well-known World War II battlegrounds."

This is utter bullshit, I wonder how far EA has Sony's dick in their mouth? First it was the canceling of Allied Assault on Xbox to instead get the PS2 port of Frontline with no Xbox Live plan like Allied Assault was supposed to have. And then EA not having Madden playable on Xbox Live but yet having it on PS2 online. And now this shit. I know PS2 is a cashcow, and I love my PS2, but to keep doing this over and over again is bullshit, and the fans are the ones that ultimately get hurt in all this.

This is utter bullshit, I wonder how far EA has Sony's dick in their mouth? This really has nil to do with Sony in the first place. Madden, yes, but Battlefield 1942 - no.

Plus, it's been available on the PC.

I'm getting really turned on by this. I bet Sony gives EA a nice pearl necklace.

Plus, it's been available on the PC.I was speaking in general of EA not supporting Xbox Live because unlike Sony who let's the publisher charge its own fee to play one game, MS charges one fee for all games and then pays the publisher with the fee it collects every month. Also I'm tired of playing EA's PS2 ports on my Xbox, if I wanted to play a PS2 I would hook up my PS2 again, since Buffy came out they haven't supported X-box with an exclusive game.
