The Final Fantasy artwork thread got me wondering if there is a place on the web with video game artwork from all over? Or is it all about different sites?
I am an artwork junky and like having a tons of pics on my computer just to look at sometimes..not to mention for other creative uses.
Anyone have an idea?

I really wish I did. Because I would like to see it also.

Don't know any specific site but if I may give you and advice try searching Google for artwork by Yoji Shinkawa (guy who does the designs for Metal Gear) of Ayami Kojima (girl who does them for Castlevania games). Both are great.
And lo! I've found a site. Go here , there are a lot of video game designers on this page. It's in French but just click on a designer's name then on "Galerie d'artworks" to see a lot of stuff.

Oooooooh....many thanks Blunt.
Which reminds me from looking at one set of the artwork. Whatever came of the War of Gensis and what was it all about?
An example....

Anipike has some good links to videogame sites that feature art, both official and fan-drawn.

Pictures number 98 and 119 on that page that CTDelude linked. I just fell in love with both of them.

I echo 105. Hot.
2 looks kinda like Preston type character from Equilibrium. The white suit, high collar, dual guns and he is in a pose. But that is just me.

Also to check the names of those characters that turn your engine on (in one way or another)

After some extensive web searching I have found that this is actually a game in Korea. Seems this is their Final Fantasy or close to it.
Pretty interesting stuff...there seems to be a petition to get it Stateside.

well if you were an otaku you would know about the wonderful world of anime artbooks.
I actually own the Parasite Art book and have scans of the drawings and CGI. Most Anime artbooks have drawings.. and the video game artbooks usually have both.
Some of the best Video Game artbooks are the SNK and Capcom series.
you can go to any anime website dealer and runthrough their artbook list.
Beware though.. artbooks are addictive and expensive.. they range from $25 to $150.

And as for artbooks, I'll have to look into them.
