I'm playing a short set tomorrow night at this coffee shop. A couple other guys are playing too, and they needed someone to take up time sucking so they'll sound better after I'm done.

So anyway, I'm playing 4 or 5 songs including my secret cover song. It'll be interesting...

or 'Snap Tight Wars' by Crayon.

Anyway, I'll be in Cincinnati until Sunday. Otherwise, I'd be tracking this performance down like a bee on wheels.

Thanks Kev, I'll be playing more and when I do I'll definitely give you the heads-up.

It went pretty well. My friend Ben and I started off playing 3 songs that we play together. Then Charles (his project was called the Burning Recovery) played for a while, then I played my 5 songs (including the ever-so-wonderful mst3k theme) then Ben played, then Charles played again.

Charles was a cool guy and it was really cool to meet him.

The turnout was pretty good, even though the American Nightmare show detracted a lot of my friends.

And I only screwed up twice!

Did you write the songs, or were they all covers?

Damn, I'm sorry I missed this thread before now. I would have loved to check this out.

Next time.

2 songs I co-wrote with a friend.
2 were original.
1 was mst3k cover.
