e-mails would be appreciated, for one so I can see if the accounts work, and for two because it'd be nice to see somebody say something nice.

Now I know how PKG feels. Anybody?

Honestly, HMT...
I think it's terrific except for three things:
1. The graphic for "The Music" is off kilter and it detracts from the aesthetics.
2. Framed sites are so 1998.
3. The writing on the site, primarily the section about the band is a bit too over the top in how legendary the sound and stuff is. Be modest, let the fans speak out on that front. It seems a little too heady, and I think it makes it harder for the music to speak for itself.
Just my two cents, but it's good to see you guys plugging forward. Kick ass, gents.

Just my two cents, but it's good to see you guys plugging forward. Kick ass, gents.1. I can fix the button.
2. Frames are the only way I know to make a good site. I coded it all by hand, so my limited ability and lack of more powerful programs sort of hinders my creativity.
3. You're right. I knew that, but never bothered to rewrite it. Thanks for reminding me.

Fixed the button, re-wrote the bio.
Can't do much about the frames until I get a pagebuilding program (that I can figure out how to use) and can put together a stellar redesign.

Kirk, I like it, but Nick has some valid points.
Still, at least you're out there, which is far more important than what your site looks like. You've got your music up, news and updates on when and where you'll be playing, and even a gear section! What more do you need?
You did a great job for it being your first website.

HMT...I didn't want you to think I was ignoring you, but I guess I wanted to choose my words carefully to be tactful.
Like Nick said...I think it just had a somewhat dated look to it. It's a solid first effort, but you need to adapt some more modern design aesthetics wherein "buttons" and "links" aren't so obvious.
Also, I like the logo, but I think your first page could use just a wee bit more graphic oomph. Not sure what exactly, but something.
But as Nick and Steve said, the importnat thing is that you're up there and have your own updated, dedicated site. Paramount first step there.

Thanks so much guys. I really appreciate your suggestions. That's what I was after. I'll probably need to keep the frames for a month or 2, but I'll be working on something better in the meantime. For now, it's what I have and just about the best I can do with my current knowledge.
It will be updated often, so of course feel free to check back once in a while.

I like the header graphic. Can't offer much more that hasn't already been said. Keep working at it.
Are all of your band's lyrics spiritual in nature? Just gave CWFF a listen and it's pretty good.
