Russell Crowe is an amazing actor. He didn't just play John Forbes Nash Jr., he completely BECAME John Forbes Nash Jr. So, he doesn't have a great reputation with the press, one needs to be able to seperate his reputation from his acting ability. When I saw him on Larry King Live and Primetime Live he was incredibly charming, down to earth and REAL. He bought Jennifer Connelly the earings that she was wearing at the Oscars because he did not want her to have to return them. You never hear about the really nice things that he has done. He was robbed at the Oscars, Denzel so did not deserve that award. Oh, and Russell Crowe does not have a fat ass.

Hey, keep in mind this is what I think of him. Yes, he is a good actor but the whole thing with the Gossip (I dont know if it is gossip or not) it makes me think he is a jerk. I did not believe until the fight he had with that guy because they cut short his poem. So I am sorry for all you Crowe fans out there. I type pretty fast so that's why there are some mistakes in some of my posts. NH is not great so I agree with you guys there...lol.

Hey, keep in mind this is what I think of him. Yes, he is a good actor but the whole thing with the Gossip (I dont know if it is gossip or not) it makes me think he is a jerk. Its attitudes like these that keep people such as Victor Salva doomed to be "the guy who was *ACCUSED* of molestation". An artists life outside the screen should not weighed against the art they create. Until Russel Crowe stars in a film where he counsels people who yell profanities during poetry readings I will consider him a honest actor.

To sit in your tower and say that Russel is a bad actor becasue he hit a heckler is like saying Mike Tyson is a bad boxer because he was accused of rape. Regardless of whether or not their actions outside their public life was just or not is irrelevant, my money will still be on Mike & Russel

One of my best friends and his family came across a shooting location where Rusell was working that day. It just so happens, one of my friends little daugthers has a crush on Rusell, and she wanted to say "hi" to him, but a PA barred them from meeting him, and said that "the producers have said that Mr Crowe doesn't want to be bothered at this time" in a very nasty LA tone.

All the time, Russell was sitting and watching all this from a bench. He got up, cursed the PA "fuck you & what the producers said," and took the little tennybopper and sat with her & spoke for about 5 mins, signed autographs and took pictures with the family.

He's cool in my book.

Ah..another thing that Russell Crowe has done that was awesome that got no press what so ever. Also, the guy that he shoved against the wall and yelled at because he wouldn't let Russell finish his poem, Russell later on did call him, apologized and asked him if he'd like to go out for a drink. I think that it takes alot for someone to apologize.

I loved every minute of the South Park episode like two weeks ago, when the whole episode was one big crack on Russel Crowe.

Also when Russel Crowe started singing, and the tug boat tried to get away from him and couldn't so the tug boat shot himself. Honestly I really dislike Russel Crowe.
