A welcome change of pace. I just glad that we were able to finally find a use for the main riff. Nick and I had been playing it for well over a year until it was made into this song, which is another of my favorites.

I must have been half asleep this week; I didn't even realize this forum was here.
Absolutely love this song. I'm amazed at the range of material you guys manage to produce.

I'm glad you love it.
'Tis one of my favorites as well.
It's a good sign of our evolution and has one of my favorite elements in any song, NICE harmony vocals.
And although its used very much already to describe the song, "warm" fits it to a tee.
It's the kind of song that evokes moods and images. And that's always wondrous.

The lyrics to this song are awesome. Could anyone clue me in as to what the inspiration for them was? I mean, I suppose I could guess, but then I would probably be wrong.
The solos are flawless. Truly beautiful.

No real inspiration. I just wanted to write a song about a break-up that wasn't generic.
