Flawless

[Jacks Inner Rage]

This movie made me smile!
It was the story af a hero cop who has a stroke and is taking singing lessons from a drag queen, oh did i mention that the cop, played superbly by De Niro, hates gays!
De Niro once again gives a magnificent preformance and Hoffman shines, definatelly deserving a nomination for best Supporting Actor.
But my only quarell with it is that i felt that the writers couldn't make up their mind on wether they wanted it to be a comedy, a drama, or a crime thriller!
Overall the acting and original story does it all for me!

So thats that!

I liked the first half, but I felt it sold itself short on the second half. The resolution was poor and it sort of meandered pointlessly.

Only than me thinking that the film could not find itself genre wise, I didn't like the way Schumacher filmed De Niro having the stroke, i didn't know what the hell was going on!
