Hellblazer quoted: "wow,i think everyone here has gone faggoty on us,guys, why guys." And then said: "If that's why FFG packed up and left, I don't blame him. That offended me when I read it this morning, and I'm all about the clam."
First off that clam line is hilarious.
I don't know why FFG left. If it's because of an illness or something, my apologies, I'm a cold-hearted fuck and I was only thinking with my competition-obsessed mind. But if he left because he didn't like the comments made by certain people, then I can't feel sorry for him. If you're going to stand out and be different then you need to be strong enough to take the heat, that's really not anyone else's fault. There will always be close-minded idiots. Personally, I didn't give a shit who he was picking. I didn't care if he was choosing the animals off my grandfather's farm. To each his own as they say. And I'd rather have sex with a couple of his choices over Helen Hunt and I don't just mean Gina Gershon and Andie MacDowell. I only cared about the problem when someone leaves the draft because I think it's a little messed. He just got used as an example.

What the hell?? What movie stars Michael Dorn, Pat Morita, AND Mean Gene Okerlund??
That film would surely be a cinematic masterpiece!
Edit: Shit! When I saw Neve Campbell hadn't been picked, I though surely I could get her next round. Fuckerrrr!

I've had more beauties go down on me in the last ... I'm sorry -- let me start again -- I've had more of my draft list decimated in the last two rounds than I can handle.
Okay, really got to dig now ...
Although my sleeper pick remains ... and I'll save her till round 10.

Jeez, people.... calm down. Hopefully, I can bring this topic to an end.
1) I did not WANT to drop out of the game and break my commitment; I was enjoying it. There are, however, a few things in my life/work that suddenly require a lot of my attention. The specifics are nobody's business (and really aren't interesting enough to speculate over).
2) Instead of slowing down the selection process, I decided to bow out of the game. Sorry if that pissed a few of you off. But (as it's already been pointed out) I knew that several of my choices were not exactly at the top of other players' Most Wanted Lists.
3) Am I a total wuss that got scared off by a few rude remarks? Hell no! I don't offend easily. And even if I did get offended, my course of action would not be to run and hide.
In summary:
- Nobody pissed me off (although Innocent X is coming pretty damn close).
- I think I had the best list.
- My apologies for inadvertently causing such a stir.
Now shut up and go make your next picks!

I think Rhinestone missed the whole
"When you pick someone it's them NOW not in 1956" since he picked a corpse. Foxy Roxy the interacial pioneer during the times when it was REALLY tough and birthmother to a rock star is in the literal sense.... dead. It's touching but I think his island inhabitants might find the corpse smell a bit too raunchy baking in the tropical sun.

ARGGGGHHHHH!
Round 7 has just begun and ALREADY I'm getting slammed!
First, Hellblazer shows no mercy and gobbles up the abandoned Gena Gershon first chance he gets.
Then there's Yasmine Bleeth, who I agonized over in the last round, whether to take her or Neve. It seemed obvious to me the two of them had slipped past their deserved positions because folks had overlooked them. I literally flipped a coin, went with Neve, and prayed Yasmine would still be there for the next round. No such luck.
Then, there's Parker Posey, who I had stashed away, assuming all you big bad Chudites were such the horror/action/scifi fans that you'd pay no mind to the quirky indie goddess. Again, my prejudices come back to bite me in the ass.
But then, BRIDGET FREAKIN MOYNAHAN! Sweet Je-hay-sus, I'd set her aside for my tenth round pick, sure that NOBODY would think to remember her (though I, personally, think she's easily both the hottest Coyote, and the hottest chick on Sex in the City) and BOOM, she's snatched right up in front of my eyes.
Back to the drawing board, I guess.

Alec's making time with my best girl:
Tongues were already wagging before the screening (Hannibal in New York) began when pneumatic nymphet Jennifer Love Hewitt asked MGM vice-chair Chris McGuirk to move so she could sit next to Alec Baldwin. McGuirk refused, but that didn't stop newly-single Baldwin, who co-stars with Hewitt in "The Devil and Daniel Webster," from cozying up to Hewitt for much of the night. The May-December duo were spotted leaving together after the post-party at the New York Public Library

And that post sucked.
Seriously, I'm asking-Do I have horrid taste, or is it just that my lovelies have slipped people's minds, or are we just kinda' choosing whoever's scantilly-clad pictoral we glued together in this month's Maxim or FHM?
I must be doing this wrong, I was kinda' basing this on looks, talent and what I know of the personalities of the women involved.
Like, I thought losing Jaime Pressly sucked-not only is she cute, but she seems to have spunk.
Then I saw her jawing on Stern-and I thought, "I really would need her on the Chud Island. If I ran out of food, I'd need some snotty, slutty, expendable BITCH to go all out RAVENOUS on."
She was that ugly. Her every statement made her more ugly.
It was kinda' a letdown.
I don't know what this was about, really. It's all fiction, but it does reflect on the kind of people we are when we pepper our lists with Scum-Lows.
Like, no offense to he who chose her (Dave, I think-or Carl?) but, dude-from one who knows-Carmen Electra doesn't hold up really well at five inches away.
Maybe my point is that there are just too many hagged-out coke-bunnies with loose labia hangin' out on this island?
Or maybe I'm really wondering if MY head's in the wrong place. Or if I'm thinking with the wrong head? Maybe this all speaks to some deeper trauma? Who knows?

LOL...I feel ya. But I respect each individual's taste. I do think people should look deeper than ign.com babes and Maxim and FHM, but let's face it...those are the easy repositories. People will use them. I don't want to come down on them for doing that because you kinda risk being a snob. i can't speak for anyone else, but i'm making my selections based solely on what i've seen of them (pictures, movies, etc.), not what they actually look like from five inches away. that is irrelevent to me since it will never be a reality. i'm sure most of us would be mildly disappointed with some of our picks given the opportunity for a face-to-face encounter. it's called "Hollywood".
of course, i also don't give a shit if they have a generous heart or a charming personality or a pleasing voice. i'm in this for the sheer superficiality. for the purpose of the draft i'm zeroing in strictly on looks. sexy eyes, big BJ lips, a flat stomach, a firm ass and some impressive breastseses... you know, the things that are hard to find in everyday life

It's kind of a combination for me, but there are certain women who look fine in print, but don't have the poise to really interest me on film. Jennifer Tilly would be one, for instance (that voice drives me nuts! Yet I have no problem with Joey Lauren Adams - go figure). So hot pictures aren't what I'm basing my choices on.
But I know I've got at least one or two to come that I think are absolutely lovely (without even involving one of the Golden Girls!) and I'm sure I'll get some disagreements. My picks are somewhere between personal opinion and the fact that voting enters into this at some point.
Jason Pollock
02-07-2001, 11:25 PM
Well, Dave-rock on. Sounds good to me, sir.
Perhaps my pussy-ness was kicking in. The horrible, horrible part of me that is interested in a women because she seems compelling for reasons other than her implants.
And that's NOT sarcasm.
Sometimes the part of me that looks for "neat girl" before "nice tits' gets more press...
And while I won't retract my statements, I will say that I may have been cracked when I made them.
I mean no disrespect to anyone's choices, I think it might have something to do with how amazingly over-exposed some of these Man Show faves might be.
Mike did something cool by reaching back in time and picking girls that made him tingly when he was a kid. Some thought went into this stuff. Thought that's going to be dangerous when we start picking flicks.
The idea I was exploring was-"Would we really WANT to be stuck with these women somewhere?"
I mean, in this fantastical situation, after you've filled every hole Tommy Lee's already slowly seeped a load into, you might have to interact.
Granted, this is all theoretical-but at the same time, I've been in the presence of a couple of the women in my draft-and I've based my choices on people I thought might be fun or smart or weird AS WELL AS foxy-and who might actually give me the time of day.
I don't know, I'm just babbling-making conversation.
Conversely-I asked if my mindset is the odd one? I mean, when you pick these women-are you just supposed to be looking for the fucktoy?
Sure, we don't know these people-but the media paints a far more realistic picture than any of them would like to admit, I think. We can come up with pretty informed opinions of some of these chicks.
For example, we may not know Angelina Jolie-but we KNOW Angelina Jolie. Better than she knows us.
Does anyone really want a Shannon Dougherty on the island?
Nooo...'cause everyone knows she's a bitch.
Okay, so Patrick would throw a shot in her, true-but eventually...we'd want her drowned.
Also, Micah-I know EXACTLY where Chloe's been-which is why the taint of Harmony Korine will be removed...
And Carl, sorry for accusing you of the whole Carmen thing-but I just think that if Dave was as close to the woman as I was-he would definitely use the choice on a sexier creature.
Like Bea Arthur.
If we're going to take this concept seriously enough to get upset about Micah getting Angie Jolie on a fluke departure, we should treat it like we'd actually be stuck somewhere with these people.
It'd be like me knowing I'd never be stuck on a desert island with ten movies of my choice, so why not pick Leonard: Part Six?
Or maybe I just see people going "DAMMIT-I thought I could hold out on her 'til the next round, but you got her!!" to everyone but me-which takes me back to my original thought-"Do my choices stink that badly?"
Like I said, in the end, I'm just kinda' making conversation.

No one's choices stink, really. You pick who you like. That's it.
I will say that I would be happy to spend time with any of these ladies who call themselves Micah's angels.
Angelina has problems, but I want her to work them out WITH ME, damnit. I KNOW her? Oh, hell yeah, and that wouldn't stop me. The fact that she is bisexual in real life helps greatly.
Jessica is a treat, through and through. I've seen most of her work and she's charming and tough. Also, I needed some boriqua representation, and she was tops in that area, because Jenny Lo's personality drags her just below miss Alba on the charts for me.
I'd have to remove Manson's taint just like you have to with Korine's, but McGowan has finally smartened up enough to lose the chump. And something tells me that the fun between her and Angelina would be to die for. I just want footage..I don't even have to be there.
Thandie is PURE sexiness, through and through. M:I-2 owes SO MUCH of its "somewhat watchable" status to her. I'd just want to listen to her soft cooing English accented voice for about an hour before she received the piledriver.
Garcelle is not only a fox, but a very sweet gal in real life. I've followed her since Models Inc., and she has the goods, physically and emotionally to earn her spot.
Kelly Hu is beauty incarnate. Just flawless....she'll make sure I never lust for another Asian woman, and she's not afraid to be a bad girl when it comes to taking pictures. I love that. http://www.chud.com/board/ubbhtml/smile.gif She can also kick ass with Yeoh or Ziyi, so I won't feel more than a modicum of envy for thee and Steve "Fucker" Murphy.
Finally, Marley...I've barely known her, but she kept me awake and alert through two consecutive crapfests (Sugar & Spice and Valentine), so she's also earned my consideration. This chick is not only sweet and beautiful, but has curves to die for. Tres nice. And she will be my blonde for life.
My last three picks will reflect the same level of thought.
Yeah, I had chicks who made me feel all gooey when I was younger, and my next pick will reflect that somewhat. http://www.chud.com/board/ubbhtml/smile.gif But for the other 9, they'd be perfect for me or anyone else to spend the rest of their lives on an island with. So many varieties in personality, race, and background....how could it be better?
