Ok, this was on AMC or one of the other movie channels (non pay) the other day and it reminded me what a truly great flick this is. I dont think it gets enough credit or attention.

The wife had not seen it, and went to sleep instead fo watching it, but this is one I definately want for my DVD collection. It is truly a great ghost story. Has all the best elements...

Big Spooky House.... check...

Abandoned haunted House.... check...

Tragic Story of Loss... check.....

Children in Trouble ro Threatened... check...

Evil in Human form, notjust ghostly.... check....

Surprise Twist.... check......

etc... etc....

So what does everyoen else think? It is only PG-13, and though not really 'scary' by my standards, it is one of the best ghost movies ever made in my opinion. Right up there with Ghost Story.

Haven't seen it since I was a kid, but I remember the scene with Lukas Haas locked in the cloakroom managed to creep me out every time I saw it. Don't recall much about it other than that though.

I'll have to seek it out and watch it again soon.

I LOVE this movie! Today temp was only around 60-65 here in Chicago, autumn was in the air and that meant "Lady in White" went in the DVD player.
Two of my all time "fall/Halloween" movies are Lady in White and Something Wicked This Way Comes. Every year, at the beginning of true autumn, both of these go in the DVD player.
In fact I'm going to go put a quote from "Lady" as my sig. :)
