I know it's in German, but just take a look at the set and the film names. Anyone have this box? is it recommendable? I have it reserved, but it's a whole lot of credits...

Especially after today's forage brought Rosemary's Baby, Jacob's Ladder, and Sleepy Hollow Platinum :D

It's a great set, but all the discs are available seperately (in the UK anyway) and can be picked up pretty cheap now. Depends how badly you want the coffin, I guess.

You may also want to check Ebay - this set is also out in Brazil and quite often comes up for auction.

do the extras available here exist in other editions? Stuff like the Philip Glass soundtrack for Drac, docus, etc?

The UK discs have all the (excellent) documentaries and commentaries, but the Dracula disc doesn't have the alternate Spanish version of the movie (filmed with different actors on the same sets) or, as far as I know, the Philip Glass soundtrack. Other than that, they're identical.

The documentaries are the real draw - the array of people they lined up to yak about these movies is a fanboy dream.

OK, thanks for the info. Unfortunately, I think I'm going for the box anyway. The main point is that I can see it this weekend (the Amazon link is just to have somewhere to link, I have a local store that has it)

GOD DAMN IT. Those bastards at the store had only one of the dvds inside the box. Apparently, they couldn't sell the set, so they opened it and sold it separately. GAH!
