View Full Version : DAMN, DELAYED

I've gotten a wealth of stuff from Johnny Butane, plus DJEvil and chenzzo's stories, but there are a few things I'm waiting on that are vital and the deadline has passed.

No sweat, though. It's important that this issue be good. Many BIG PEOPLE are watching. I have a radio drama being prepared for the issue, we have a home video zombie film from one of our readers, and a shitload more.

After my L.A. trip this weekend, CCC will be born. KEEP SENDING STUFF!

How big ARE they? Twenty? Thirty feet? I'll get the chainsaw.

Work shed.

Finally starting to piece together this mother of an issue...

Need something from HAM, Steve, and anyone else who's contributing. We are (sorry, we're busy bastards) OFFICIALLY launching issue 7 on Monday. It'll be worth it, I promise.

The TV studio my friend and I are editing at has been swamped, and I can't open any of my stuff on anyone else's computer, so I have to type my stories over again. I apologize to Nick publicly for the delay, and to sum up-I AM A LOSER.

Johnny Butane

What kind of stories are we talking about? I thought Nick didn't want stories. Now I'm a putz.

SUNDAY AT 2PM IS THE DEADLINE FOR CREATURE CORNER. ANY SUBMISSIONS MUST ARRIVE BY THEN.

Johnny Butane

Oh that's funny, you little machine. I'll have my way with you yet.

"Peach, you're a man, aren't you?"

Join me or die. Can you do any less?

You know, it's funny, I'm sitting here, it's Monday, and I still see no new CC. I cry now.

Nick Nunziata
03-27-2000, 11:52 AM
I cry too. Had to bump it to Wednesday because if I didn't, MY STORY wouldn't be in it or Sean Fahey's.

NEED THEM.

It's a race!

CCC#7 vs. Indy 4 ... which will it be?

Nick Nunziata
03-27-2000, 12:17 PM
You think I'm happy?

Johnny Butane
03-27-2000, 12:22 PM
I'm guessing it'll be CCC#7, but only by a hair. I'm kidding Nick, really. http://www.chud.com/board/ubbhtml/smile.gif

Yep. You're sitting there in your pile of money earned off of optioning Adam's screenplay to Dreamworks.

Oh, and in case you don't know me well enough yet, all of my posts are laced with acerbic wit. I will patiently await the next bi-annual issue of CCC!

Johnny Butane

I'm telling ya, if it were mine it would be new every week. Granted it wouldn't be as good, but it would be new.

DJEvil

It'd be different pictures of us every week with a caption underneath, saying, "No special effects were used. These people exist."

Creature Corner is an awful workload. The ANTI's are behind me now and I can devote my time to my other babies (FETAL, CCC, SCI, a new section that's a secret, and The CHUD All-Stars Page).

I'm still 100% more timely than any video game manufacturer, Image Comics co-founder, or Satanic Deity.

DJEvil
03-28-2000, 01:55 AM
Ooooh, secret, huh? What is it?

Johnny Butane

I've dealt with MANY Satanic deities that were BEYOND punctual, Mr. Overlord, but I will accept your escuse. For now.

If the new CCC doesn't come out tomorrow I'm gonna kill myself. Wait, that's not right, I'm gonna kill somebody else.

That makes more sense.

For the record, the person who finds all the hidden words this issue will WIN A DVD. One person. The FIRST person. The trick is, I'm going to be a real bastard this time around. Nobody found all of them last issue (not even the almighty Blofeld) but still I'm gonna be EVEN MORE EVIL. The hidden word is going to be FEEDER. Keep that in mind. Study the word, learn its shape, and tomorrow morning when you attack the latest CREATURE, find it. I'm only goin gto hide FIVE, but oh how they'll be hidden.

now that the last contest is over, tell us where they were!

I drove myself crazy and only found 3 or 4

Blofeld

I promise, I'll do the honors. It'll take me a few hours though... I'll be back later with the locations of rotting ghost...

FEEDER FEEDER FEEDER FEEDER FEEDER FEEDER

Thank you for making it clear to those of us who are dumb, like me and I. I wouldn't want to make the same idiotic mistake again, for I'm an idiot. Maybe I'm being too hard on myself.

I can't wait for tomorrow, don't forget everyone to read the movie reviews!

Rotting Ghost:

I found the following four without any assistance. I place them in ascending order of difficulty (IMHO).

1) Gory Pictures. Bottom of page, above "click on the pictures for the punchline";

2) Articles. Stephen Murphy's ghost story. 2nd picture. Blinking at bottom of photo;

3) Links. Look at the list of "other chud appendages" on the left;

4) Site of the Week. Read the quote from "a wise man"; and,

The following I was only able to find after a friendly phone call and hint from Nick.

5) News. Romero on Resident Evil. Drag your mouse over the "Gory Pictures" button on the top menu.

BASTARD!
