Who would would win in a three way fight? Ash from Evil Dead, Ash from Evil Dead 2 or Ash from Army of Darkness?

Basically, when do you think Ash was the toughest?

Personally, I have to go with Ash from ED2. I mean, what kind of sick freak kills his OWN girlfriend and then cuts off his hand, shoots at it and then attaches a chainsaw to whats left of his arm?!? Then again, I bet almost all of the sewer chewers have done that before. I know I have.

Even though Ash has a lot of groovy catch phrases in AOD and probally kills the most Deadites in ED, He is just a plain insane bad-ass in ED2.

I think Ash from Evil Dead 2 would take Ash from the original out quickly due to the inexperience (and no chainsaw for a hand). It would be a little harder with Ash from AOD but Ash from ED2 would end up victorious.

It's kind of tough to respond. Probably because you're right. The AoD Ash is pretty complacent and silly, whereas the ED2 Ash is on the attack and somewhat grim. The ED Ash is just a hapless dork.

AoD Ash was totally mental, and he knew he had nothing to lose at this point. That's the most dangerous kinda man in the world. And if ya remember he fought himself and won once already.

In AoD, Ash was a swaggering, Indiana Jones-style skirt-chaser on crystal meth.

In ED2, he was the genetically-engineered superbaby of Rambo and Mad Max-on PCP.

In ED2 he was trigger happy AND maniacal.

I'd wager a win for Evil Dead 2.

ED: Ash is a semi-real human being that's scared, yet willing to kick some ass just to stay alive until dawn.
ED2: Ash is a "Hey baby, how about some champagne"-type lover man, driven to insanity and being royally pissed the entire way.
AoD: Ash is tired, angry, and frustrated (me in high school). He eventually becomes Errol Flynn.

ED2 Ash seems pretty feral compared to the swashbuckler in AoD. I'm pulled between the two.
