I was thinking....when Frank gets infected, the soldiers seem to let it happen, and only show up AFTER he was infected . What I am thinking is, Frank doesn't seem like a man to go down quietly, especially if he found out the soldiers plans for his daughter...so I was thinking...maybe the soldiers let it happen, because there plans would be easier without him in the way? What do you think?

Frank's infection was such a freak incident. I don't think there were any infected people in the vicinity that the military guys were waiting on to attack the foursome and take out the guys. That would have jeopardized the women's safety. It did look like the military guys had been waiting there already. Maybe they were checking them out first or waiting for orders. I don't see how they would think Frank would give them more trouble than Alex. I also don't see how they'd automaticaly assume the young girl was Frank's daughter. It could have been Alex's, or Alex could have been Selena's husband.

Do you mean Jim? Im sorry, I dont mean to sound mean or anything, just if its the same charecter, well, I think frank looks like he could do more damage than Jim.

ya Jim, dunno why I thought his name was Alex. I just find it hard to believe that they'd assume Frank would be more trouble than Jim and take him out. Just by looking at them I'd think Jim would be more trouble, and in the end I don't think Frank could have pulled off what Jim did.

I dunno, I don't see the soldiers being able to manhandle him as easy as they did Jim in the first place. I think once he found out about their plans they would have to shoot him then and there, whereas with Jim they beat him up, knocked him out, tied him up, etc. I see Frank dying before he let them touch his daughter.

I think they were merely watching and evaluationg the situation.

When Frank turns, they see the others start rallying to put him down, and that is when they act. they see the survivors are willing to drop an infected, even one a girl is screaming dad too, and the decision is made.

Plus once one is infected, they want to ensure nothing happens to the 2 females.

Good question, made me think, until I read the explination that said it happened so quickly, seriously if it weren't for the commercial who'd have seen that coming?

Plus they probably got excited when they saw the two girls and...er...cleaned their guns? Uhuhuhuuhuhuh...
