Beyond Re-Animator: 'Kevin' has an interesting report on the new chapter in this horror franchise: "I had lunch with Jeffrey Combs over the weekend and he told me he just finished doing the looping on BEYOND REANIMATOR, and saw about 30% of the film and was very surprised...he thought it looks really good. He originally said (don't share this part), when he finished filming it that it was a disaster for several different reasons, but now he thinks it is edited really well, and looks quite insane. He isn't sure whether Lions Gate wil distribute it in theaters or just DVD/video yet, but it is screening this weekend at some sort of distributor conference in LA.

I just love the fact that it CLEARLY says "don't share this part", and yet there it is, in all it's glory.

I figured if Garth thought it was okay, then so could I.

It kinda depends who "Kevin" is, I suppose. He may just be a rabid fanboy who likes to pretend he has lunch with horror stars.

And BruceL, it is okay, I found it ammusing that Garth just completly disregarded that part. Did he not care or not see it, I wonder?

The best part is, if you take out the bit you're not supposed to share, it's the most pointless scoop ever - Jeffrey Combs has seen some of the movie and thinks it looks good, it may be screened this weekend somewhere. Oh, and he eats lunch with people called "Kevin".
(edited to point out this isn't a dig at Garth, whose site pleasures me in all manner of ways - just the comedy wording of the scoop)

The other day, after playing cards with George Romero I went and had a late dinner with Anthony Perkins (who's looking much better than you would expect considering his condition) and he told me flat out that this was false information.

Romero plays pool at my house. He couldn't possibly be at your house.
And he told me this information was true, so THERE.

I can tell you, with all honesty, that Kevin did not work as a crewmember on Jeepers Creepers 2. wink

Hahaha!
Well...I am still not to sure on Mr. Combs opinion. He's a great actor, of course...but he also said that Feardotcom was going to be as freaky as Seven...
