Something tells me that his phone is going to only have like 5 minutes of battery remaining and anytime he powers it up to desperately make a call, it will beep perilously... When the phone dies, at the worst possible moment, he will make a sarcastic self-deprecating remark either about himself or the phone service in Iraq.

I'm trying to figure out how a phone could get reception when you're buried underground in Iraq. I know people that can't get reception in their homes here in America.
Maybe I just shouldn't think about it.

Maybe it's a Jack Bauer phone. A movie filled entirely with Reynolds, though it could be Reynolds overkill, doesn't sound all that bad. As long as it doesn't turn into something like 'World Trade Center', it has potential.

I'm sure he will widdle a hole in the "box" he is buried in, reach through it with the phone on speaker, only to get an Iraqi operator, and (surprise!) he doesn't speak the same language.
Either that or he will pick up on distress call from Marky Mark....

How's he supposed to light the candle?
This sounds like a point and click game.

So it's a tense close-quarters flick like PHONEBOOTH with the tech problems of CELLULAR? If only Pei Mei had trained Reynolds, the movie would only last the length of a flashback.
I dig Reynolds. I'll watch this. I really wanted to see him in that buddy cop flick w/ The Rock though.

Well, I'm thinking he has no idea where he's buried and that there's something keeping the rescue teams from finding him in time.
