...Just came across this DVD in a local store. Never heard of his really early work being released before (always started with 'Shivers' as my introduction to DC).
Question is, are they any good?
Anyone ever seen them?
I'm trying to cut-down on my 'blind-buying' these days.

There are definently Cronenberg. If you are a hardcore Cronenberg fanatic I would recommend it, others might have a hard time getting through them. I love Cronenberg's work, but I found them pretty hard to sit through. Stereo was the better of the two IMO. You can definently see the themes that Cronenberg would be known for in these two films.

I enjoyed Crimes of the Future quite a bit, and it's definitely an interesting film to watch, if for no other reason than you can see that Cronenberg is really sowing the seeds of all the issues he's tackled throughout his career.
Stereo left me a bit cold, but it's definitely worth watching if you're a Cronenberg completist.
They're definitely worth watching. You might not need to own them. Netflix the second disc of Blue Underground's Fast Company and you're set.
