You've got to be fucking kidding me. The Evil Dead Musical is to blame for this.

What's weird is I just watched the Manos episode of MST3K over the weekend, and I was once again stunned by how absolutely terrible it is. It's absolutely mind-boggling how bad it is.

FUN FACT! I read somewhere that apparently Torgo is actually supposed to be a satyr, and that's why he's got thunder thighs. The director let the actor do his own make-up, and apparently he went all out, even fashioning hooves for himself which are mostly obscured by his pant cuffs (or Joel and the 'bots if you watch the MST version).

Hah, yeah, I remember reading that too. Forgot about it, and it's never explained in the film.

I knew this was a classic during that first scene with the conversation between the man and the cop where both are dubbed by the same guy, who isn't even trying to change his voice.

Except what you missed is that he apparantly has them on the wrong way, which is why it's so hard for him to walk and it left him in paind for the whole film, but luckily he was also tripping on Acid for the whole shoot as well.

Also, isn't it the director and his wife who dub ALL the voices in the film?

The story I heard was that the actor who played Torgo was crippled by the leg devices and ended up getting addicted to pain-killers because of them. He then killed himself...MANOS!!

Even the MST3K version of this is boring and unbearable. Such is the power of Manos!

I dunno, it's still no stage version of CANNIBAL: THE MUSICAL! And Personally I'd prefer a musical version of MITCHELL! myself complete with "Hearts poundin' Veins cloggin! Mitchell!" and other hits.
