So I'm back at EA, doing the testing thing. Up for a promotion soon too, with a little luck. I'm also actually quite excited for Euro this summer, since I've spent the last week fully immersed in the soccer world. I understand the game a little better, enough that I might head to "The Drive*" and try to catch a game or two. Nothing like Sambuca shots at 11:00 in the morning! *= The Drive is short for Commercial Drive; a place where all us swarthy Europeans hang out, wear track suits and polish our Camaros.

As per Canadian law, I'm currently watching Hockey Night In Canada this evening. While I miss my wife (who is away on business) it's nice to watch something other than The Hills some some other drivel. Not that Toronto vs. Ottawa is a real barn burner, but it's nice to have the game in HDTV. It is WHY we bought the damn thing. I may even watch a little of the Superbowl tomorrow.Between Rambo yesterday, HNIC tonight and football tomorrow, I may wake up Monday with an extra testicle from all the testosterone. How ???ing manly am I huh? Huh?

Saw Cloverfield tonight. I think I dug it a little more than the wife, but I did realize something. The things face looked like a turtle. Now when folks ask you what it looks like, you can tell 'em: It looks like a giant turtle with no shell. And big angry lice things hanging off it. Some other observations: Iron Man Trailer. Pretty cool until the lame Ozzy song kicks in. Star Trek Trailer. Also pretty cool, and Nimoy's quick voice over is a nice touch.
