So tonight I'm in my groove rocking out to Knights of Cydonia on GHIII (on easy, I just got it a week or 2 ago), and I hear a knock on my door. I pause the game not sure that I heard anything and there comes another timid knock. I open the door and it reveals a middle aged lady, attractive and with a confused look on her face. "I'm sorry I thought the woman I run into doing laundry lived here. Um, can I have some ice?"
"Some ice?"
"Yes, just 2 or 3 cubes. I haven't unpacked my ice cube trays yet and I'm having a nice Liqueur....... I'm sorry I'm just having a very strange day, one day we'll go for coffee and I'll tell you all about it. I just need some ice."
"Ah......sure"
I grab the tray and dump my last 5 cubes onto some saran wrap, and hand it to her.
"Here you go, my names Ryan by the way"
"Ryan, I'm Sandy"
I extend my hand and give hers a bit too much force, a bad habit.
"Thanks, good night."
"Good night"
About an hour later I hear the same timid knock.
"uh hi, um do you have any alcohol?"
"Alcohol? Ah.. no" I lied and told the truth at the same time, I did not have any booze though my roommate has a bottle of rum in the cabinet, and two bottles of wine in the fridge.
"not even a beer or anything?"
"Sorry I don't have a thing"
"I'm all out but I don't want to go out to get it.......nothing are you sure?"
"Really I have nothing in here."
"I suppose I'll just have to go out like this" She grabs her sweat pants and ruffles them. I begin to suspect she may be drunk.
"oh well good night"
"good luck"
I need to move.
