Redbox=Saving Me Money

My name is Rene, (it's pronounced Re-neh), I live in a small town in deep south Texas that is literally a few miles from the Mexican Border. Most days I spend at home watching movies, being on my computer (mostly here on the boards), and listening to soundtracks after I get out of my job. I strive to better myself, and pursue my goals.
Ever since I found out last year about the Redbox, it's become my prime source for renting films. No longer do I have to spend $4 and up for a movie I may only see once. I just rent it for a $1 and then return it the next day before 9 P.M. If I don't I get charged an extra dollar (not a big deal)
In this recession the Redbox is a Godsend for people like me who always want to rent something right this moment. It also cuts down on wasting money on a movie that could potentially be crap.
It really sucks that some of the big name companies are trying to prevent Redbox from purchasing movies from their wholesale warehouses, mostly because they're not continuing to line their pockets with money since Redbox only rents for a dollar.
I for one will continue to rent from them, even if all they have is films from smaller companies like Anchor Bay (which I see a lot of films on there of), and the one big name company that has an exclusive deal with Redbox (Sony).
Rene's song of the day: "Van Chase" by Basil Poledouris.
Thanks for reading my blog and see you next time!
