Bob Mori
Bob Mori has edited with a wide variety of artists and has worked with international clients from around the world. Mori’s first feature project “Pulse” was a dark atmospheric horror-thriller via Dimension Films. The feature was one of the first green lit under Bob and Harvey Weinstein’s new company (Weinstein Co.). Directed by Jim Sonzero it was released in August 2006 with an opening weekend of $8.5 million. He has since completed his second feature “Grizzly Park” directed by Tom Skull which opens in early 2008. Bob’s work expanded to long form dramatic in 2004 with the project “Four Lean Hounds” starring Mia Maestro (“Alias” and “Frida”) and in 2005 with “Premonition” starring Sarah Bolger (“In America”) both premiered at film festivals around the country.
Bob's television commercial highlights include the 2000 Super Bowl Budweiser spot "Rex" for DDB Chicago which earned USA Today’s top Ad Meter award. Bob also worked on the 1989-1990 season of Saturday Night Live editing the opening montage which aired for three consecutive seasons.
Mori’s recent awards include a 2006 Gold AICE Editing Award for his work on Nike, a 2004 Bronze Clio for Altoids with Leo Burnett and a 2002 Cannes Bronze Lion for Yard Fitness California. He has just completed work on Sega Condemned 2: Bloodshot to be released on March 13, 2008.
