If the world was a good and just place, everyone would know Frank Henenlotter's name. His Basket Case, Brain Damage and Frankenhooker trifecta have guaranteed his placement among those of the best cult directors of all time... and he's not done yet.

Bad Biology, his twisted film about a woman with seven clits and what happens when she finds the perfect man, has been playing festivals for almost two years now. I'm still kicking myself for missing it at the 2008 NYC Film Festival but fortunately it's on its way to dvd, and very soon!

STYD learned that January 26th sees the release of the film visa Media Blasters and Fever Dreams. The dvd art isn't as good as the poster art above (give it a second to sink in) or the absolutely insane and NSFW Japanese poster, but it'll do.

The film features a script co-written by rapper R.A. The Rugged Man (who was awesome enough to talk to me and give Creature Corner the first exclusive stills from the film) who also helped produce and provide the film with a soundtrack from Prince Paul and tons of other hip hop legends. It also features special effects from longtime Henenlotter collaborator Gabe Bartalos.

No word on the dvd features but we'll let you know when we do.
