20th Century Fox just released two new featurettes for Avatar, a little movie you might have heard something about. We're just a week away at this point and the hype machine just keeps on rolling.
First up, a story featurette. Personally, I feel like I know every beat of the film just from that trailer that showed off every damn plot point. Nothing terribly new is revealed here but it looks like there's a few bits of new footage, and you can laugh at Cameron saying he doesn't like the film being pigeonholed and then doing it himself in the same sentence.
Secondly there's a featurette about Avatar's world Pandora which is narrated by Sigourney Weaver and is far more fascinating, providing a great look at the unique flora and (mostly violent) fauna of the world. Check it out on the French Studio Canal site and try not to wonder why you suddenly want a Coke Zero.
Hope for a good film on our messageboards.

Affleck refusing story credit on Avatar is true, but apparently Cameron had to pay through the nose to use Afflecks creature and planet designs for the film.

Yeah... and then Affleck had to come in and finish up all the computer effects himself, since Cameron's teams couldn't get them in on time.

Sure, that Cameron line was funny, but I had to pause to wipe spit off of my screen when Ribisi said "This story is so original."

Oh man, bring back the Avatards. They were much funnier than this dickhead with his one joke and no life.

Hooray for moons of Jupiter that not only get enough Earth-equivalent sunlight for green plants to grow, but are dominated by one topographical region! Avatar is going to blow the doors off the sci-fi world!

Actually it is not. There are polar regions with ice sheets. And they get sunlight from ACA - bigger than our Sun, ACB - smaller. I'm not mentioning massive ammounts reflected from gas giant.
Moreover tectonic activity on Pandora is larger on earth, supporting much heat from tital movements and inner moon's heat.
