Yea Nic you tell those bitches who's boss! Man, Cage gets a lot of flack for being in some shitty movies but you can't deny that he's a good actor. This proves it once again. Besides, he's been in a lot of good movies in recent years as well...Matchstick Men, The Weather Man, Adaptation, Lord of War.
I like Nic Cage, so go to hell!

Agreed. I really wish Nic Cage would do more of this kind of stuff, even if the movie turns out to be bad. He's an odd duck, and he should embrace this kind of material. Also, I should note that I have no problem with good actors taking roles in big Hollywood pictures. It's just that Cage has such lousy taste in blockbusters.

I understand that Nic Cage basically didn't get paid to do this movie. He just liked the role and wanted to work with Herzog. I can't wait to see this.

It was hilariously insane the second he revealed himself behind the door inexplicably shaving with an electric razor, let alone when he actually started roughing up the old ladies. This movie looks amazing.

Awesome. I love what I saw in the trailer, but this clip seals it: I have GOT to see this movie.
And it's been awhile since I've seen Wild at Heart. I finally got the Lime Green Box after saving forever for it, so I think it's gonna be a Wild at Heart night...

I think I remember seeing something on this site before about how Cage seems to try harder the less he gets paid basically, which does make sense. I mean, if he WANTS to do something totally off the wall, he can probably get away with doing so when there's nothing to lose, as opposed to having to tone it down when there are hundreds of millions of bucks at stake that the studio folks would like to NOT lose.
