Every year Adam Green makes a Halloween short film. He's done some pretty great work in the last few years - The Tiffany Problem and King in the Box have been terrific and funny - but Jack Chop is maybe his most endearing. A real quickie, the short stars Grace director Paul Solet in a parody of the Slap Chop infomercial. What's hilarious here is the dual layers of jokes - there's the obvious gory japes at Slap Chop and then there's this incredibly specific Boston-centric series of jokes underlying it all. I also like watching it get dark outside.
