Red Faction has always been an underrated series. A shooter that did destruction better than anyone before, they weren't the greatest games in the world but they were always solid and tons of fun. The first introduced a story of a miner uprising on Mars ripped straight out of Total Recall and introduced you to the concept of a world that could be blown apart at your pleasure.

It's strange to see Red Faction: Guerilla changing to a third person perspective, but as this brand new trailer shows- this allows for all new kinds of fun. Check out the ridiculous hammer and mech destruction, and marvel at how pretty everything looks.


But can this hope to top the destruction presented in new games like Mercs 2? We'll find out next year when it's released, but it's already looking like a helluva lot of fun.
