BECAUSE YOU DEMANDED IT: THREE MEN AND A BRIDE

Just a quick bit on a news that should surprise no one in this era of remakes, reboots and sequels to films that haven't been in theatres since before Miley Cyrus was alive: Three Men and a Bride is coming to a movieplex near you in the near future. Yes, Tom Selleck, Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg, whose biggest upcoming project looks to be The Golden Retrievers: Legend of the Lost Treasure, are reuniting nearly twenty years after their sequel to 1987's Three Men and a Baby was last on big screens.
Says Guttenberg: "Tom Selleck, Ted Danson and I are looking to make another Three Men And A Baby movie. It's called Three Men and A Bride. The script is pretty much written and we are really keen to get that made. We're very hopeful." Also, according to the IMDB article, Guttenberg is also looking to resurrect the Police Academy franchise. Although Guttenberg hasn't been in the limelight as much over the last 18 odd years, he has kept busy, with roles in smaller movies and TV shows like Veronica Mars and Law & Order: Criminal Intent.
No word if they can book the cardboard ghost cutout, which was unceremoniously dumped from the first sequel.

Three Men and a Baby beat the odds by none of the three leads being bankable stars beyond 1990. But you get them together and you got gold, right? Who would go see this? Straight to DVD, I suppose.

3 actors i still like to this day...i have a feeling this is just bullshit on guttenberg's side..they recently got a video of the guy runing around with no pants on and his ass and junk exposed...when asked about it, he simply says " oh yeah, i run naked all the time"...and this shit is on video!

Oh man, I so want to see this. Does Prop. 8 cover three way civil partnership/marriages? This and Milk will redefine gay relationships and the girl, she's marrying Lindsay Lohan and it's produced by Buena Vista and directed by Jon Turtletaub and completely pisses on those Mormon bigots. Bring it on baby! Bring it on!

Another commenter touched on this already, but can we please focus for a moment on Guttenberg's other pastime of late, jogging in Central Park sans pants. Clearly, he's ready for the limelight again.

If this gets made and shown in theaters I vow to see it... Because it won't happen. But if it does, I'll be there. I will follow through!

According to Moviehole, Guttenberg claims he's going to direct (but not star) in a new Police Academy movie. He actually seems to think Sharon Stone and Kim Cattral would even consider being involved with it too! Did SG do a bit too much blow in the 80s, or take a severe whack to the head at some point? He really seems out of it these days.

My beloved Tom Sellick does need to do something on the big screen before he dies of old age. But not this. Please not this. Also: of the three guys from those movies, all faded stars, Guttenberg is probably the least believable. Also: I hadn't heard about the naked jogging thing, but there is this frightening bit from a while back, http://thesuperficial.com/fastsearch?tag=steve%20guttenburg

'3 Men, a woman, and a 4-way' would be ten times better.
