Do you enjoy horrible, canned production music? Lots of extraneous slap bass? Microphones jammed in the faces of disinterested stars? Then Review Nation is for you! I am astounded by the sheer volume of movie outlets in this world every day. All because of the hard work done by pioneer sites like mindspring.com/~moviefreek9.htm and cinebot.edu. Amazing.Luckily there's a pot of gold at the end of this cell rainbow.
When cornered at the press line for The Transporter 3: Keep Your Expectations Low, none other than Sylvester Stallone hinted that he's working on adding Mr. Dolph Lundgren to The Expendables (my article) and that he'd be going toe to toe with Jet Li. That'd be pretty great, especially if viewed as a companion piece to Men of War.
I don't want to get too hyped up for this, because it's a delicate little snowflake of a movie. But it's a great possibility. If they can wrangle a good outcome from Dolph's crackerjack legal team.
See the interview here. Especially if you love being freaked out by a touchy-feely Robert Knepper.

I'd be a lot more stoked for this Stallone project if he hadn't already said that he wants to go for a PG-13 rating (or was it PG?). I'm into the 80's B-movie nostalgia casting, but will it work in a pussied-out, family-affair of an action flick? This needs to be approached in the same way that he did Rambo. Mucho over-the-top ultra-violence. And by over-the-top, I don't mean arm wrestling.

Apropos Lundgren: There's a great program at the French-German tv-channel ARTE called "Durch Die Nacht Mit" ("Through The Night with ....") that features two artists spending an evening together with some fun activities and a camera crew following them around. There's one episode in which German actor Ralph Herforth gets his ass handed to him by Dolph Lundgren in his former Stockholm Karate-school. Unfortunately you can only get the DVDs in Reg 2 but it's a blast to watch it... (There's some other great eps that should be interesting to non-Europeans, like those with BruceLaBruce, Franka Potente and John Carpenter, Henry Rollins or Bai Ling)

I hope they find whatever drawer Bridgette Nielsen ended up in and re-inflate her for a cameo.
