RATED AARGH! #114 - THAT'S GOTTA HURT

I'm pretty sure Pyramid Head learned that trick from Sheeva. You just gotta hold High Kick, press back once, forward twice and release! Easy as pie. Of course you have to be close as well, none of this sweep distance baloney.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Silent Hill movie. So much in fact, that I played Silent Hill 2 afterwards, just to get some more (Pyramid) Head. Unfortunately, he's not quite as impressive within the game itself, and I haven't played a Silent Hill since. I had played the first one when it originally came out, but the thick mist struck me as a graphical cop-out *cough* Superman 64 *cough* and the slower pace was not suited to passing the controller back and forth between my brothers and I, so back to the rental shop it went. Of course, if we had seen some skin-tearing or barbed-wire-inserting in that brief first hour of the game, then I'm sure it would have been a different story...

You might want to check out Silent Hill Origins. It was made for the PSP, but was pretty good and recently released on PS2. It's got Pyramid Head splitting a Nurse in half, a fully charred child, who is still alive, within the first minutes of the game, and a butcher hacking one of the monters to pieces among other things. Oddly enough, I bought it after watching the behind the scenes on the Silent Hill movie, which I also thought was pretty good.
