Two of the people who won a 'Character and Morality in Entertainment' award for their work on the first Narnia film are negotiating a deal to script Captain America for Joe Johnston and Kevin Feige and his minions. That makes sense. The fact that such a thing  -- the CAMIE -- exists is brilliant, for one, and that one is held by the guys who might script the adventures of the most moral, upright superhero in line after Superman is too good to be true. Wonder how highly that factors into Marvel's desire to make this happen? Probably not much.

Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely were part of the team that adapted both Narnia movies for Andrew Adamson, which might have been one of the more thankless tasks in recent entertainment. They also adapted The Life and Death of Peter Sellers, for which they scored an Emmy.

Beyond that, I'm still waiting to hear about who'll wear the suit. With a face and personality to anchor the character, we'll have a much better idea of what to expect.
