Tomorrow is Halloween and I can't think of a better way to get in the holiday spirit than to unveil a terrifying and violent scene from a highly anticipated horror film.
That's why I'm so bummed out that all we have is this clip from The Uninvited, a remake of a South Korean film that stars Elizabeth Banks as a personal nurse who ends up marrying the widow of her late patient. When Anna (Emily Browning), the daughter of said widow (David Strathairn), returns home after a stint in the hospital, she is visited by the ghost of her dead mother who warns her that Elizabeth Banks intends to use the good china for informal gatherings.
Where were we? Oh yes, The Uninvited. Well, nothing says Halloween like PG-13 Asain horror remakes. The Uninvited opens in the U.S. on January 30, 2009.

Saw the trailer for it a week or two ago. Made in Vancouver. Did they change the plot around so much that they had to change the name from Tale of Two Sisters to the Uninvited?

I thought this would be a remake of that film starring George Kennedy about a mutant cat that slaughters people. What a jip.

I think you mean "widower," not "widow."

I always allow people to put me in precarious positions with makeshift weapons before I confront them with questions about their true identity.
