But not in an FF spinoff, thankfully. Jessica Alba is getting some company for hew new film, An Invisible Sign of My Own, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Fellow Marvel movie alum J.K. Simmons (Spider-Man) and Chris Messina (Vicky Cristina Barcelona) have been added to the cast. Invisible follows the story of Mona Gray, a closeted, math-obsessed teacher who starts to come out of her cocoon when a new science teacher gets hired to her school.
Alba has most recently allegedly been seen in the Love Guru (don't know anyone who saw it to confirm) and is still slated for Sin City 2 in 2010. Simmons is still logging time on Kyra Sedgwick show, The Closer and was most recently in Burn After Reading. Messina was most recently in Made of Honor.
The indie film will be directed by Marilyn Agrelo and produced by Jana Edelbaum, Lynette Howell, along with screenwriters Pam Falk and Mike Ellis through iDeal Partners and Silverwood Films.

Alba sucks and was terrible in F4, I hope MARVEL gets the rights back someday and make awesome Fantastic 4 movies. I really hope she doesn't show up in SIN CITY 2, she really isn't even needed in a DAMNE TO KILL FOR.

Well, that pic convinces me she should show up. In a nonspeaking role of course. Naked. brb!

Yeah, because of course someone who looks like Alba is so likely to be a shy loner who no one really pays attention to. No doubt she wears glasses and is a bit dowdy and considered average looking but 'magically' transforms herself into a hot babe by the end of the film. Good for Hollywood. I don't want to see ordinary looking people play leads....why, I'd be positively puking in the aisle. I want attractive people who are more wooden than the New Forest.....did someone say Orlando Bloom?

Shame about Dark Angel, second-string genre TV was about her level.

Alba should not have been cast in Sin City because she refused to do nudity and it was necessary for the role. She should not have been cast in FF because she was terrible in the role. She should not have been cast in the Love Guru because it should not have been made.
