I certainly hope Gran Torino is good, because Changeling sucks. It's not just bad, it's a tedious piece of shit that had me laughing again and again at things not meant to be funny. Upside: it has kids getting hacked to death with an axe.

Anyway, Gran Torino is Clint's real attempt at Oscar gold this year. It's the story of a cranky old man who befriends a Hmong boy who attempted to steal his titular car in a gang initiation. I bet they both have unexpected lessons to teach one another.

Eastwood says this will likely be his last acting role. After the train wreck of Changeling, maybe he should consider retiring altogether.
